The Lord of Winter is available

It's finally up! Available in every electronic format there is at Smashwords, right here.  My very first attempt at self-publishing. Go buy it, read it, and if you like it, tell all your friends. Also, if you do like it, please review it. The more reviews I get, the more people are likely to give it a try.

I really hope you enjoy it. :)

  1. Congratulations! Might I suggest that you also publish on Amazon? I am not a fan of their monopolistic behavior but can't deny their reach.

  3. "The Lord of Winter".....Bought it...Read it....LOVE IT!! Don't want to say too much so as not to give away anything, but of course, true to L.J.'s style I am totally intrigued with the characters and want to know so much more (especially about Delamond!) I was really touched by the authors tribute at the end....and I couldn't agree more! Great read L.J. - hope we get to see more of this tantalizing world. :)

  4. Hummmm....I just reviewed "The Lord of Winter" on Smashwords and gave it 5 stars (the only other review so far gave it 3 stars), but when my review posted with 5 stars they kept the overall review stars at the top next to the title at just 3 stars "based on 2 reviews" it said. I think that is very misleading not to mention that shouldn't the stars from both reviews have been averaged? I emailed Smashwords with my question on that as well, don't know if they will respond though - hope so!

    1. That's odd. When I checked it was at four stars, so maybe they fixed it. I really do appreciate your five star review. That three star one really hurts my chances to sell the story. And it's not an unreasonable price from all the research I did before I chose it. *sigh*

    2. Yeah! They did fix it thank goodness.

  5. Hi -- I just finished Lord of Winter and loved everything about the story ... The characters, setting, plot and most especially the message about PTSD. My only complaint? This may be greedy, but I want more of this story, more of this universe. Anything you write, I'll read. Thanks for sharing your gift.
